No real meaning to this blog, just to emphasise the amount of free time i have over summer that i can spend browsing the wonderful world of YouTube. Japanese are so funny...

Im no japanese scholar, but i got from a webiste what they were actually shouting in english... The first time they attack the guy they shout "Tsunami!", The second time They shout "It's that guy!", the third time they screamed "Fire!".

Every so often a new worship song comes around that has the power and potential to be the greatest anthem for the global church to sing and cry out to God. The song "Healer" is powerful and has an amazing story behind it. (I love songs with a great stroy behind them)... Written by Mike Guglielmucci, this song is a declaration of love and relisation that Jesus is all we'll ever need. to quote the chorus . . .

That just blows me away eveytime I read it. God is my healer, hes more than enough and is forever faithful. God is a God who cares for us. Although at the end of the day we deserve none of it, everything that is, is his, and is about him. Not about us, and he wants to be our healer. How mad is that! That has to be the very expression of pure love! . . . God is the healer of, our finance, our health, family, emotions, the list goes on and on, he is the healer and is in the business of restoration.

"The Happening" - DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS FILM!!

Ok .. so it's not very often that a film would rile me up so much that I would post a blog tellnig everyone not to see it. But this one has. I feel that me saying that "It is wick" does not potray how wick it is, so im going to say that "It is she-ite"... Please, please do not go and see this film... I am now going to spoil it, so that you dont see it. Pretty much, people run around and commit suicide for an hour and a half.. THATS IT. Thats all there is for the whole film... no story line, thats it! Bloomin awful. You dont even get to see them die.... for example. A guy decides to go over and turn a big lawn moer on and lie down on the ground and let it run over him. Just as it goes to run over him (which would be pretty cool to see) the camera cuts away. WHAT!!!! Grrrr

- The Anthem -

So I said that this blog would be for me blappering about whats going on recently in my life, so I am going to share with you a little story about "The Anthem".

This year, for me has been freakin great. For those of you who don't know, I am currently studying music at Bangor College. It's amazing. God has really blessed me with some amazing freinds that I have met there. This year i really didnt know what to expect, but with my best bud Shiney, we headed into it full steam charging to learn about the magical world of Music. On our studies, we met two of the most amazing blokes called "Niall and James" Who are legends. We instantly bonded, (not in the biblical sense) and started to make music. It's been really great having a bunch of christian guys, who share the same mind set on music. We recently sat down and decided that we woudl really love to start making music together as a band. We really don't know where this is going to head to, but we know it feels right. We are taking summer. to get together each week and rehearse and write our own songs, and hope to get out playing everywhere and anywhere in September time.

Throughout this year we've been doing alot of "Worship" stuff together and out playing at different youth events and churches, which is great, and we really really love doing that. But as a band we are looking to do something a bit different, that may include worship at times, and it may also include playing in pubs. Whatever! We just wanna spread our noise and hope that people like it! ... We played a gig recently at our end of year performance at the empire music hall, and played 3 of our own songs. Think it went Goood., we are alos hoping to get a quick demo done over summer too! So yea, look forward to spreading the nosie.

My First Blog

Horray! Well since bebo is boring the balls off me, i've started this whole blog thing. Another reason for doing is it is because kitchy has one, and because he has one, i want one. So there. Anywho, yes, I do hope regulary update you people who have no life and do this whole blog thing with the latest low down on my sad little life, although be warned this could maybe just be a fad, and i could abandon it at anytime (hopefully not).

A wee bit about me

Im Pete, Im 19, people like me because im polite and im rarely late. (Classic anchorman lol) I openley declare my love for God, I believe he is the creator and maker of all things and that he came into this World to die for man (and woman) ...........is that P/C????? haha!, (well the fact that woman is in brackets, prbably not) ... I love music and I make my noise from a piece of wood with 4 strings attached to it. Nosie is good.
